This month’s interview was a personal joy for me, as I’ve been a long-time follower and fan of Meera Lee Patel’s work. She spins journals, books, and paintings like a true artist. Her work is not just gorgeous to look at, but it’s also full of wonder and wisdom.
During our conversation, Meera spoke with me about her journey as a self-taught (!) artist, the idea of confidence as a skill you can build, how to accept that stability is an illusion, the magic of poetry and doing something just-for-you, how parenting has helped with reparenting herself, and so much more.
Please give this one a listen if you can. I was obsessing over the editing process because I wanted to keep alllllll of her golden nuggets in here – but alas…
I hope you enjoy Meera as much as I did, and share this conversation with someone else who might, too.
